Who we are
OKO SAS, 31 boulevard de Magenta, 75010 Paris, France (RCS Paris 881 648 323), is responsible for the personal data collected through joinoko.com. You can reach us at support@joinoko.com.
This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the OKO products used by restaurants and their guests, such as ordering and booking pages, which have their own terms.
When you visit the site
Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.
The site remembers your chosen language and, for the current tab, whether you have seen the opening animation. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate visit and performance statistics without analytics cookies.
Optional website analytics
Only with your consent, we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure page visits, campaign and referral sources, and contact actions. Google receives browser and device information, campaign identifiers and analytics cookie identifiers. We do not send contact form entries, chat messages, names, email addresses or phone numbers as analytics parameters. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Refusing does not prevent you from using the site or contacting us. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. We remember your choice for 180 days. Our analytics cookies expire after at most one year without automatic renewal on each visit; user and event details in GA4 are retained for 14 months. Standard aggregate reports may remain available beyond that period. A source restaurant identifier may be kept for the current browser session after consent.
Google may process data outside the European Union. See Google’s privacy policy.
When you talk to us
- Contact form. The form behind “Tell us about your restaurant” is hosted by Lark (Lark Technologies Pte. Ltd., Singapore). The details you enter there (your restaurant’s name, postcode, your name, email and phone number) are stored in our Lark workspace so that we can get back to you.
- Chat. The chat window is provided by Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, 2 boulevard de Launay, 44100 Nantes, France). It only loads when you click a chat button. Crisp then stores the cookies the conversation needs, and processes your messages, the details you choose to give (such as your name, your restaurant, your email or phone number) and technical data about your device.
- WhatsApp. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
- Email. If you email us, we receive your address and your message.
We use this information to answer you, to prepare your quote, and to follow up on your request.
Legal bases
- Answering you and preparing a quote or a contract: steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Keeping the site secure and following up on your request: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Chat cookies: they are needed to provide the chat you chose to open.
How long we keep it
We keep conversations and contact details for up to three years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case they are kept for the duration of our contract and then for the periods required by law. Hosting data is kept by Cloudflare for a limited time for security purposes.
Who receives it
The OKO team and our service providers for this site: Cloudflare (hosting), Google (optional analytics), Lark (contact form), Crisp (chat) and, if you use it, WhatsApp. We do not sell your personal data.
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to support@joinoko.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
